Obligatory “still alive” post

Yes I am still alive, although at the moment it doesn’t feel like it. I am fighting multiple problems at the moment. A nasty cold is bringing me down and add to that the fact that my Chrones is acting up and you can see why I am not on much. Yes I am feeling miserable, no I am not letting it stop me from spending time with my family. I wish I didn’t have to go to work today, I could really use another day of rest.\par

Hopefully within the next few days I will start getting better and then I can post something good. I have a few photos to share and some amusing(to me at least) stories to share.\par

If I had a million dollars

I need more time in the day, or less temptation to try new things. This new thing is actually kind of cool. It is called Swurl and it ties together all the different crap you may have on the internet. Such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and a ton of others. Anyway, here’s a couple more shots I can share. First up is one of the fences at a park behind the police station. Originally one of their cars was resting on top of the fence, I just wasn’t brave enough to go down there while it was still like that.

Next up is this house. There did not used to be a gaping hole in the foundation.

These shots are not technical masterpieces, but that’s not really what I was going for, just documenting this for the future. While there was quite a bit more to show, and areas that were much worse off. I have chosen not to invade those parts of town yet until things have settled down a bit. These people have been through enough, they don’t need me poking around while they are trying to get things done.

And the horse I rode in on.

Well, the photos are still on my camera, but I need a break from girl movies or I am going to lose it. So I got on here to post one that I took at the wedding. It isn’t a work of art, but I like it and that is what it is all about to me!

The only things I did to this, aside from resizing for the site, was tweak the contrast and brightness.

Day two was much better

I went out Friday and took photos, lots and lots of photos. I would love to share them with you, but:\par

4) There is no 4 really but I like to end on an even number when possible!\par

Becky doesn’t have to work this weekend so I probably won’t have them up till Monday. I rarely get to see her much on Saturdays so I am going to take advantage of it.\par

Oh yeah, we went to see Wall-E Friday night, it is quite good. A little something for everyone. It’s silly and animated for the kids, has some good slapstick humor for the dads and a girl movie subplot for mom! What are you waiting for, go see it. Oh and enjoy the short film at the beginning, it is hilarious!

Taking a few days off

Taking a 4 day weekend. Going to relax if it kills me, or someone else!
